Steve joined the band in Autumn 2007 by answering an advert for a bass player! He could see the songs the band were working on needed a saxophone, and luckily the band agreed. Bob, on trumpet, joined shortly after, and the Covered brass section was up and running. Steve originally played drums in bands round Guildford and London before moving to sax. He plays drums on the odd song to give Ges a chance to focus on his vocals. Steve is mad about playing sax. He plays a Yanagisawa Tenor with an Otto Link metal mouthpiece which it’s rumoured he keeps under his pillow at night.
